I've lived in Marin for 43 years now. The Grinch, who lived just north of Whoville lived on the top of Mount Crumpit for 53 years. His life was a disaster he realized where he was in his life. No point there really, but there are local, state and federal initiatives to prepare individuals, families and communities from disasters including earthquakes, fires, floods and even the results of terrorism.
